“I am a medically retired veteran. Due to the type of career I had I am a quadriplegic, I have APS Lupus, MS, and I could literally go on with 7 other major medical problems … I go into the hospital for one week a year at spinal cord for tracking progress or lack thereof and my doctor this year was thrilled with my progress in using my hands and my changed mindset. The reson for this was the craft projects you send me. I am so grateful to you and your colleagues as well as to the people that donate to the program. Because of the crafts I have slowly obtained emotional comfort, mental confidence in being able to do more things and amazing ability to use my hands as long as I go steady and slow. I am so grateful to everyone, donors and staff for doing what all do.”
