Over a two-year span, Help Heal Veterans received donations of more than 400,000 pounds of recycled material from La-Z-Boy Incorporated, creating 47,894 therapy kits with a retail value of $1,538,647.00.

Help Heal Veterans repurposes the unused leather, cloth, and other materials to create therapeutic craft kits that are sent to veterans and active-duty military around the world who are recovering from the wounds of war.

Recycled leather skins, cloth, and wood are used in the production of many Heal Vets therapy kits. Individual handmade dyes cut the leather into the components for each kit, which the veteran will put together using glue or hemp cord.
